Georgia Irwin is an actor, improviser and creator living in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Georgia fell in love with performing at a very young age. After studying acting for film and television at New York Film Academy in New York City where she lived for two months, Georgia auditioned and was accepted into the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting program at the University of Alberta. Upon graduation in 2014, Georgia moved to Toronto where she studied mask, clown and bouffon with John Turner and Michael Kennard at the Manitoulin Conservatory for Creation and Performance. In the fall of 2014, Georgia began the Conservatory program for sketch comedy at the Second City Training Centre under the direction and guidance of Kris Siddiqi, Shari Hollett and Reid Janisse.
Georgia starred in the independent short film THE SOUND AND FURY OF BARBIE AND CLIVE by Kristine Nutting which premiered at the 2016 Los Angeles LA Femme International Film Festival.
Georgia is currently training with John Gordon at The Dirt Underneath Actors Space and with Rae Ellen Bodie at The Professional Actors Lab.
Most recently, Georgia was seen as a Bridezilla in the new comedy pilot ROGUE BRIDAL on the channel Makeful by Blue Ant Media. The pilot was produced by Natalie Urquhart and directed by Lisa Rose Snow.
Georgia can also be seen as Arielle in a new web-series called BELLWOODS, written and directed by Michael Gaty and Ella Rowan.
In May 2021, Georgia moved to Vancouver, BC to pursue more acting opportunities out west.
